Although our New Year Day is 1st January the the first day of the 2015 Chinese New Year is on February 19, 2015 in China’s time zone. This day is a new moon day, and is the first day of the first Chinese lunar month in the Chinese Lunar Calendar system. Chinese New Year 2015 will be the year of the Goat/Sheep. For people born in the year of the goat (1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003 ), 2015 is considered an auspicious year. “Goats” are said to like to be in groups. They are honest, intimate, and can be easily moved by the misfortune of others…
Well here we are at the start of a new year. After a very difficult and challenging year for Violet Moon Centre the year ended with December being an extremely hectic time. I took a trip into Croydon over the Christmas period and bumped into quite a few people who used to come into the shop who have been wondering what I have been doing with myself over the last 12 months. Well put simply, I decided 2014 was a time for me. I guess one of the setbacks of running my own spiritual centre and metaphysical products/crystal store was that I didn’t get a lot of time to concentrate on your own spiritual path. During the 7 years of running the centre my own mediumship work took a back seat as I employed outside mediums for my events. When my Croydon shop and spiritual centre closed back in October 2013 I decided it would be the perfect time to revisit my platform work and I did this with Tony Stockwell in his Mentorship scheme. I have now successfully completed a year long mentorship with Tony Stockwell which involved travelling to Essex for one weekend a month to join the others in the group as well as completeing monthly assignments and exercises. I have to say I really enjoyed Tony’s mentorship and would recommend his mentorship scheme to anyone who would like to enhance their mediumship skills. Here are some photos of my receiving my certificate and also with some of the group at our final weekend of the scheme.
During 2014 while I was looking for new premises I had to put my regular workshops and circles on hold. It did take longer than I anticipated but during that time in addition to my daily face to face readings I began working for a psychic line. At around the same time I also started working with Derek Acorah’s Psychic Ether which is an interactive online website so people can see each other during the reading very similar to Skype except it is all done through the website so you do not need to have any other facilities set up to get your face to face reading. At the beginning of December Derek Acorah invited me to Manchester to meet him and the others I will be working alongside in his team. Stone of the month: Lithium Quartz
Lithium Quartz is a super high energy healing and balancing stone. It is said to be self-clearing and self-cleansing, Lithium quartz sends and receives energy as well as storing it. Lithium quartz is balancing and calming, and is used in crystal healing as a natural anti-depressant.
